The second amendment will never be taken away from us, as we should no matter what have the right to bear arms. Veterans have fought with guns for a lot of their life and they will never forget about it. Veterans are the ones who would like to go home and shoot a couple of guns at a target just to get them to remember about what they went through. Most of our veterans get mad about trying to take away guns so why would we take away guns period. Especially because they defended the country for us.

The thing with gun control is that there will always be guns on the face of this earth. I think you can not control it. For example, in Texas they carry guns everywhere because the law is less strict down there. The most common place for murders are in the cities. You will usually see country people with shotguns and rifles and the most common type of murder weapon is a handgun. 

 "About America's gun violence epidemic; we're not going through one.  As for school shootings, they're not increasing in frequency.

This is about our failure to treat and detect mental illness."(cnsnews.com) In the quote you can see that school shootings are not going up at all and the failure to detect mental illnesses is the problem. when some one has a mental illness they cant think straight so we should be focusing on every mental illness patient.

The highest gun ownership country in the world is U.S. with an 88.8 per 100 residents. Our nation was formed on guns, and it is still the top country in the world. More positives of guns is that 200,000 times a year women use a gun to defend against sexual abuse. Guns can be kind of restricted in my opinion, to an certain extent. People who are mentally ill should not have the rights to take an ownership into a gun.
